The Nexus
The development of Elijah Centre as a global entity with a main centre in Trinidad
and with integrated communities spread around the world has necessitated the utilization
of a new descriptive term to define the Trinidad base.
The core community in Trinidad is now called: The Nexus.
The term is taken from a Latin word “nectere” meaning “to knit together, to bind,
to knot”. It defines a location where things come into focus and are tied together
causing understanding or meaning to come to things that otherwise would not relate
together. The term very adequately defines the function and the character of the
Nexus.
