Elijah Centre Timeline
December 1990
First corporate meeting, with Dr Noel Woodroffe (Senior
Elder) and Graham Taylor (Associate Elder).
1991
Establishment of pioneering principles using the examples
of Noah, Abraham and the other patriarchs. Initial ministry
groups for women, men, adolescents and children are set in
place. Dr. Woodroffe’s first book “Understanding the Prophetic
Move of God Today” is published in December 1991.
1992
Cementing of the Prophetic Dimension. School of the Holy
Spirit in which the saints are taught how to operate and
function in the various ministry gifts helps to accelerate the
maturity of the saints.
1993
Expanding our boundaries, Pulling up our tents. Large
increase in members requires the addition of a 2nd
meeting on Sunday morning. The World Breakthrough Network
(WBN) is launched with Dr. Woodroffe as founder. There
are 4 initial members.
1994
Entrance into the Nations, accompanied by strong Prophetic
Governmental Prayer. This type of prayer becomes the bedrock
for explosive advancement into the previous locked up
territories of the earth and truly brings a territorial,
governmental authority to the assembly. We ask God for the
nations and he starts to respond immediately. 1994 also marks
the release of two more books based upon the teachings of the
previous four years namely, The Ultimate Warrior – Avoiding
Defilement and Spiritual Government.
1995
Transition and development into greater apostolic
dimensions with Anderson Williams joining the primary
leadership team. This addition adds greater depth and
flexibility to our operations and increases our territorial
span into Europe and South Africa.
1996
Re-examination and deepening of the Pastoral Foundations
within E.C. Issues of purity and spiritual development are
addressed as new ministries are established to reduce any
leakage.
1997
Definition and increase revelation of the Reformation
Process, increase governmental authority. The book
Governmental Prayer – The Warfare Expression of the church, is
published and represents three years of God released
revelation and insight into the principles of effective
apostolic prayer.
1998
Release of the Exportation Principle and new avenues of
ministry. For the first time streaming audio and visual clips
of the Apostolic/Prophetic Conference is placed on the EC
public Website. At the same time God also signals a closure of
the Regional conferences. From the insights gained during this
period Dr. Woodroffe publishes his fifth book entitled "The
Present Reformation of the Church" in 1998. This book will be
read and used by many around the world as a manual for
bringing reformation into their environment
1999
Invasion into ex church cultures. Movement into the
education system results in the establishment of NorthGate
College, the INCS (now Gobal Leadership Interlink) on
university campuses world - wide. The Corporate arm of the WBN
is also formerly launched in 1999.
2000
Continued refinement of the concept of EC being the Core
Church of the WBN. Establishment of the Breakthrough School of
Ministry as a means of exporting the reformation process. A
prophetic word about an entrance into a phase described as a
Quantum Leap is declared by prophet Steve Schultz.- June 2000
2001
Entrance into a divine new phase and the quantum leap that
was declared 6 months before. Establishment of new leadership
structures within EC. The E.C Senate is established, while
greater focus is placed on issues of community and covenant.
Private websites are created to facilitate greater interaction
between members of EC general and within the various people
group ministries. Establishment of small group structures
(identified as GROWTH groups) within the people Group
Ministries. For the first time the concept of Elijah Centre
being the Foundation and bedrock of Kingdom Towers is
introduced and pushes the understanding of EC being a Core
Church to another level
2001 - 2004
Explosive growth and development occurs as we emphatically
enter and begin to progress in the new Divine Phase.
Philadelphia Network is established in Elijah Centre and it
becomes the avenue through which holistic community life is
expressed through out the entire organism. Embassies of Elijah
centre are formed out of what originally began to emerge as
"External Groups" of Elijah Centre. Embassies develop in the
United Kingdom, United States, Jamaica, Barbados, Belize,
South Africa and New Zealand. These Embassies are
connected to the base in Trinidad through decisive use of
cutting edge technology. The Trinidad base is now called the
Nexus and the entire global expression of Elijah centre is
called a Global Borderless Kingdom Community (GBKC). Elijah
Centre is re-designated as the Creative Core of the network
which is re-cast as Congress WBN in June of 2004. The former WBN
is now only one sector of the eight (8) sectors of a vast
Congress across the earth and Elijah Centre takes its place as
a fully recognized sector in the Congress. |
